ABOUT ME
I am a high school student from Port Angeles, a small town located on the north coast of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. My passions are chemistry, physics, astronomy, the exploration and colonization of space, and of course, pyrotechnics. I have
always been fascinated with fireworks. Every 4th of July I
fire off a show consisting of hundreds of dollars worth of consumer fireworks.
Up until a few years ago I only lit fireworks by hand, but in 1999 I built and wired a control panel that allows me to ignite large quantities fireworks simultaneously or in a certain order from nearly 50 feet away. You may have seen similar devices used in professional displays. My show this year will be the largest one I've ever done; consisting of hundreds of shells, fountains, repeaters, mines, and roman candles. As of now, I plan to pursue a career in chemistry and possibly pyrotechnics. |
